ADMINISTRATION:

• Photo Retake proofs are in.  Following students are asked to pick up their proofs from the General Office:

• Friday, October 26th is a Professional Activity Day – no classes.

 

STUDENT SERVICES:

For gr. 11 and 12 students there is a University Information Program field trip on Mon. Nov. 5th to Glengarry District High School in Alexandria.  Sign-up in Student Services. Bus leaves at 11:30 a.m. returning at 2:00 p.m First come first served.  

• Attention Grade 11 and 12 students:  Would you like to take a class at Algonquin College or St Lawrence College while you are still in high school?  Dual Credit course selection is now available in Student Services. Space is VERY limited!!  Please sign up TODAY in Student Services.

 

GRADUATES OF 2019:

  The following College and University presentations will take place for gr. 11 & 12 students, who must sign up in Students Services to attend these sessions:

Monday, October 29th                        Brock University                     8:00 a.m. – Library

Monday, November 5th                      Algonquin College                  12:45 p.m. – Library

Wednesday, November 7th                Laurentian University            9:30 a.m. -Library

 

COMMITTEES/CLUBS:

•Any grade 11 and 12 students who would like to earn volunteer hours by helping out with the haunted house and maze on October 26th and 27th are asked to speak to Chelsea Howes-MacDonald or Mrs. Swain as soon as possible.

• Join the VCI Wind Band’s first meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 24th at lunch,  No experience is necessary.

 

STUDENTS’ COUNCIL:  

 

SPORTS: 

• Good luck to the Jr. Girls Soccer team competing in Hawkesbury TODAY.

• Good luck to the Jr. & Sr. Boys Volleyball teams competing in Russell and Plantagenet respectfully.

 

FIELD TRIPS:

• Permission forms to attend the November 14th trip to the National Art Gallery are available at the General Office, open for all grades.  Completed forms and payment to be returned to the General Office by Nov. 12th.  First Come First Served.  Bus will fill up quickly.

• Tickets are going fast for the Montreal Canadiens vs the Washington Capitals game on Mon. Nov. 19th.  If you are interested in attending the please see Mr. Tremblay as soon as possible.

 

COMMUNITY:

• CHAM Driving School Driver’s Education Training Course begins on Thurs, Nov. 29th at 5:00 p.m. at 593 Main St. East, Hawkesbury.
